At FORSEE Canada, we believe giving back starts at home. Our local outreach programs bring eye care directly into underserved communities across Canada, in partnership with medical students and local healthcare providers. Through initiatives such as free screenings, education sessions, and eye care packages, we work to ensure that those who need vision care most don’t get left behind. By empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals to serve locally, we strengthen both community wellness and the future of eye care.

Global Outreach

FORSEE Canada extends its mission beyond borders by supporting sustainable eye care initiatives around the world. Working alongside local surgeons, hospitals, and medical students, we provide training, resources, and hands-on support to strengthen long-term eye care capacity. Our outreach missions not only deliver immediate relief through sight-saving surgeries and treatments, but also focus on building local expertise to ensure lasting impact. By collaborating globally, we bring vision, opportunity, and hope to communities where access to care is limited.

Am I Eligible?

You are eligible to become a FORSEE Canada volunteer if you meet the following criteria:

- Commitment to FORSEE’s mission — a genuine interest in supporting eye care initiatives locally or globally.
- Background or interest in healthcare, research, or community service — students, professionals, and community members are all welcome.
- Professionalism and teamwork — ability to work collaboratively in diverse settings with respect and integrity.
- Time availability — willingness to commit time for outreach events, research projects, or fundraising activities.
- Training and compliance — readiness to complete any required orientation, confidentiality agreements, or health and safety requirements.
